Summary:At least one table top (5) has a table leg (1), and at least one table-leg strut (3) can be adjusted in relation to it. The strut can be placed in several pre-set positions from the underside of the table top and locked by a rapid locking mechanism (6). This mechanism has a clamp whose clamp points (18) are spaced apart on one plane. It also has two locking parts (7,8), one of which is fixed to the table top, and the other to the table leg strut. The two locking pieces preferably have equidistant cavities (10) and matching protuberances (12) engaging together.
