In a textile machine data is retrieved, displayed quickly at low cost

A process for the retrieval of stored data relating to prodn. or a textile machine (M) for memory slots (S) at known addresses entails its display at an optical read-out unit (3) with at least one main address and at least one sub-address linked to the main address. Here, at least one first switchin...

Summary:A process for the retrieval of stored data relating to prodn. or a textile machine (M) for memory slots (S) at known addresses entails its display at an optical read-out unit (3) with at least one main address and at least one sub-address linked to the main address. Here, at least one first switching routine may be initiated from at least one first stepper button (V2) so that, starting from the address field existing at any one time, the next following address in a predetermined fixed sequence of main addresses may be accessed in a predetermined switching direction, to display its related data. At least one similar second switching routine may be initiated from at least one second stepper button (V1) for a predetermined sequence of other addresses. Also claimed is appts. for implementation of the process where the addresses with data are stored in the memory of a computer (R) which is connected to the optical read-out unit by means (17) for the transmission of data. Here the read-out unit has a screen (3) and at least two stepper buttons (V1, V2) initiate the transmission of the required addresses.
