Summary:An electrical connector for use with the spark plugs of a road vehicle engine is produced with a main pressed metal component (16) that is formed into a shape that has a contact bolt (50) that carries the suppression element (52) and is coupled to the plug. The connector has formed slots (64) around the periphery and these are engaged by a spring metal ring (18) with projecting tongues (44) to retain the bolt. The other end of the connector provides a location for the end of the high voltage cable to be securely crimped into position.
