Summary:The invention concerns a liquid cleaning agent with thixotropic properties and its use as a domestic cleaner, in particular for WCs, handbasins, shower cabins, shower baths and swimming baths as well as kitchen sinks. In addition to the usual cleaning additives in aqueous solution, the liquid cleaning agent contains, as the surfactant component, one or more compounds selected from the group comprising alkylamidobetaines, alkylaminobetaines, alkylbetaines, alkylpolyglycol ether carboxylic acids and fatty-alcohol ethoxylates mixed with pyrogenic silicilic acid and at least one organic acid from the group comprising citric acid, lactic acid, tarrtaric acid, maleic acid, malic acid, glutaric acid, adipic acid, acetic acid and formic acid.
