Summary:The seat (1) has a frame (3) connected to slides (13) via front and rear rocking links (8, 9) when viewed in the longitudinal axis (7) of the vehicle. These slides are positioned on bearings (10, 11) on the vehicle's floor (12). The seat is positioned such that the seat frame moves from the normal seat position as the rocking linkages are actuated, and moves forwards over the front edge of the slides (14) and is lowered downwards. The rear edge rises upwards relative to the slide.
