Summary:The trailer can support eg. the overhanging part of a crane being towed by a tractor. It has the overhang (2) supported in a mounting (4) between guides (6) allowing movement along an upper or a lower tilting path. The support surface (7) of the mounting is curved. The guides and the support surface allow the overhang to tilt by a certain angle and both are attached to a turntable (9) moving about a vertical axis (10) in the trailer. There is further space in the trailer for carrying loads (13). The mounting and the loading surface are on two parallel longitudinal chassis rails, connected by transverse beams.
