The filter body (12) is enclosed on all sides by an air-permeable sheath (14) whose pore dia (w) is smaller than the size of the adsorbing particles. The filter is novel in that the housing frame (36) is made of a textile material, which is bonded to the filter body (12) with a hardening glue (38).
