A sealing strip between concrete slabs comprises an elastomeric tube having an inwardlyflexed top web 26 and converging side walls reinforced by an embedded or bonded-on resilient (e.g. spring steel) strip 16 of V or U section. The strip 16, Figs. 4, 6(not shown), has spaced transverse slots along its length. Metal plates may be bolted to the slab walls 4. In a modification longitudinal sealing beads are provided on flattened upper portions of the side walls.
