Verfahren zum Faerben von Polyacrylnitrilgebilden
Quaternization products are obtained by reacting olefins of formula R-CH2-CH = CH2 with maleic anhydride to give the alkenyl-succinic anhydrides of formula <FORM:1119628/C2/1> which is then reacted with a diamine of formula <FORM:1119628/C2/2> to give a compound of formula <FORM:11196...

Summary: | Quaternization products are obtained by reacting olefins of formula R-CH2-CH = CH2 with maleic anhydride to give the alkenyl-succinic anhydrides of formula <FORM:1119628/C2/1> which is then reacted with a diamine of formula <FORM:1119628/C2/2> to give a compound of formula <FORM:1119628/C2/3> which is then quaternized, in the above formulae R is an alkyl radical of 6-22 carbon atoms, R1 and R2 are alkyl radicals of 1-3 carbon atoms and n is 2-6. In examples the compounds <FORM:1119628/C2/4> <FORM:1119628/C2/5> are prepared.ALSO:Polyacrylonitrile materials including copolymers (as defined) are dyed with cationic dyes in the presence of a quarternisation product of an alkenyl-succinic acid imidamine of the formula <FORM:1119628/D1-D2/1> in which R is an alkyl radical of 6-22 carbon atoms, R1 and R2 are independently of one another alkyl radicals of 1-3 carbon atoms and n is 2-6. Any conventional cationic dye may be used, the quarternisation product being generally present in amounts of 0.5-2.5% by weight of the polyacrylonitrile material. The polyacrylonitrile material may be dyed by dyeing processes in which the dye is added with the quaternisation product or afterwards. Conventional salts e.g. sodium acetate or sulphate and acids e.g. formic and acetic may also be used. Very level dyeings are obtained. |
