Summary:The invention relates to a ball bearing cage which consists of a first cage element (210) and a second cage element (220) and is used to ensure a spacing between the rolling bodies. According to the invention, the first cage element consists of a material which has a higher degree of rigidity than the second cage element; the first cage element is annular and has multiple pocket parts, which are mutually spaced in the circumferential direction and form concave pocket surfaces on one side in the axial direction, and multiple connection sections, which are positioned between the pocket parts and both sides of which are connected to the pocket parts; and the second cage element is arranged between the pocket parts and has a second cage side which together with the pocket surface on both sides in the circumferential direction forms a pocket for receiving the ball, said pocket part being located therebetween.
