The invention relates to toy packaging for toy building elements of a modular assembly system, in particular block-type building elements, which are provided with protruding connector studs (18) on one side and with complementary connector recesses (22) preferably on the other side, which are formed preferably at regular intervals for the plug-in connection of multiple building elements with one another, wherein the packaging designed in the form of a case or box is formed from a container lower part and a lid (4) that can be placed thereon, wherein the container lower part (2) has a base (6) and side walls (8 to 14) arranged preferably all around same, wherein at least the container lower part (2) is provided with an arrangement and formation of connector studs (18) or connector recesses (19), complementary to plug-in connection geometry of the building elements or building blocks, on at least one part of the inner surface (16) or outer surface (20) of the container lower part.
