Summary:The invention relates to an actuator (1) for actuating a friction clutch, comprising a housing (2) and a piston (4) that is movable in the housing along an axial direction, wherein a magnet device with two magnets (6, 7) is attached on the piston, and wherein a sensor (8) for measuring the magnetic fields of the magnets is arranged on the housing. According to the invention, the two magnets are arranged in the axial direction at a distance (9) from each other, wherein the magnets are magnetized in mutually opposite directions and in each case in the axial direction.
