A pump (9) extracts precipitated water from the chamber. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Prüfkammer (1) zur Untersuchung des mikrobiellen Wachstums auf oder in Probenkörper (3) mit einer Aufnahmeeinrichtung (2) für die zu untersuchenden Probenkörper (3) und eine Beregnungseinrichtung (4) zum Beregnen der Probenkörper (3) sowie ein Verfahren, bei dem die Probenkörper (3) in festgelegten, einstellbaren Intervallen beregnet werden.
