Summary:The internally high pressure molded workpiece for vehicles comprises a basic workpiece (2), over which an auxiliary workpiece (3) is fitted, forming a double-thickness area. The width (5) of this area is 1 -10, especially 1.5 - 3 times that of the critical expansion zone (4) of the basic workpiece. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Werkstück 1, das im Rahmen einer IHU aus einem Grundwerkstück 2 und einem Hilfswerkstück 3 gebildet ist. Dabei dient das Hilfswerkstück zur Verbesserung des Umformverfahrens des Grundwerkstücks 2, besonders im Bereich der kritischen Aufweitungszonen 4. Die beabsichtigten Geometrien des Werkstücks 1 werden ausgeformt, der Werkstoff versagt nicht. Zur Gewichtsreduzierung des Werkstücks 1 wird das Hilfswerkstück 3 nur in bestimmten Zonen des Grundwerkstücks 2 eingesetzt oder aufgeklebt.
