Summary:The arrangement has a cleaning part (10) with an opening (20) for feeding in a needle (1) to be cleaned and with at least one flow channel (17) for a flowing medium, especially compressed air so that the medium emanating from the open end (19) of the flow channel is incident directly or indirectly on the outer surface (2) of the needle for cleaning purposes. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a method of cleaning dosing needles. Es wird eine Vorrichtung zur Reinigung von Dosiernadeln, insbesondere zur Reinigung von in automatischen Fertigungsanlagen zur Klebstoffauftragung verwandten Dosiernadeln, vorgeschlagen, die ein Reinigungsteil mit einer Aufnahmeöffnung zur Einführung einer zu reinigenden Dosiernadel umfasst, in welchem Reinigungsteil wenigstens ein Strömungskanal für ein strömendes Medium, insbesondere Druckluft, derart ausgebildet ist, dass das aus einem offenen Ende des Strömungskanals austretende Medium den Außenmantel der Dosiernadel zu Reinigungszwecken direkt oder indirekt anströmt.
