The drive coupling shaft (3) extends between the automobile drive unit and a driven axle and is supported from the chassis (1) by at least one bearing (4), with an explosive charge (2) between the chassis and the bearing or between the bearing and the shaft detonated in a front impact collision for outwards plastic and/or elastic deformation of the shaft. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Karosserielager 4 einer Gelenkwelle 3. Zwischen der Gelenkwelle 3 und der Karosserie 1 bzw. dem Karosserielager 4 ist ein Sprengsatz 2 angeordnet, der mit der Airbag-Sensorik in Wirkverbindung steht und eine definierte Ausknickbewegung der Gelenkwelle 3 gewährleistet.
