Summary:Matrix plaster comprises a self adhesive, gas permeable polyurethane containing at least one essential oil (or their components) whose release at the skin side of the plaster is controlled. An Independent claim is also included for production of a polyurethane based matrix by polymerization of an alcohol with an isocyanate and application to a carrier. The essential oil in dissolved form is incorporated during the polymerization. Die Erfindung betrifft ein wirkstoffhaltiges Matrixpflaster, umfassend eine selbstklebende, gasdurchlässige Polyurethanmatrix, in die ätherisches Öl eingearbeitet ist, das über die der Haut abgewandten Seite des Pflasters kontrolliert an die Umgebungsluft freigesetzt wird. Über die direkte Einarbeitung der ätherischen Öle in die Polyurethanmatrix werden einfach aufgebaute Pflastersysteme erhalten, deren Wirkstofffreisetzungsraten individuell und gezielt eingestellt werden können. Die ätherischen Öle und deren Bestandteile (zum Beispiel Eucalyptusöl, Pfefferminzöl, Campher, Menthol) besitzen einen langfristigen therapeutischen Effekt bei Erkältungskrankheiten, Kopfschmerzen und weiteren Indikationen.
