Concealed mounted water fitting has two-part jacket acting as protection during transport, and insulation after fitting, and gives good access to fitting interior after installation

The fitting has a two-part insulation jacket. This serves as packaging before fitting, and insulation afterwards. The two jacket elements (2a,b) form a collar (20), which projects from the plastering after installation. The collar encloses an access opening (21) to the body (1) of the fitting. The opening is closed by a protective hood placed over it. The jacket elements are connected water-tight via positive tongue and groove connections (24,25). The outer surfaces of the jacket elements are structure for good anchoring in plastering or brickwork. For final finishing, a cover plate with elastomer seal is fitted over the access aperture and engages sealing on the wall surface. Bei einer Unterputzwasserarmatur mit einer vertikal geteilten, aus zwei Schalenelementen gebildeten Dämmstoffhülle, wobei die Dämmstoffhülle sowohl als Verpackung vor dem Einbau als auch insbesondere zur Isolierung nach dem Einbau der Wasserarmatur dient, ist vorgeschlagen, dass die beiden Schalenelemente einen nach dem Einbau aus dem Putz der Wand vorstehenden Kragen bilden, der wenigstens eine Zugangsöffnung zum Körper der Wasserarmatur umschließt, und dass die Zugangsöffnung mit einer auf den Kragen aufsteckbaren Schutzhaube verschließbar ist.
