The device for the pumping by a feed pump of viscous or paste media enriched with fluid or solution has a cross sectional taper built in between the rotor designed to transport the medium, the eccentric screw or screw conveyor at the beginning of the suction pipe, and the outlet opening. An additional rotor downstream in the feed direction is also provided, and also an outlet for the fluid pressed out of or emerging from the product. Several cross sectional tapers are built in with a downstream rotor and outlet opening. Die Verwendungsmöglichkeit einer sogenannten Fass- oder Behälterpumpe soll erfindungsgemäß erweitert werden auf Fälle, in denen ein pastöses Medium zu fördern ist, das Flüssigkeit enthält, die von dem Medium zu trennen ist, wie es in Anwendungen insbesondere im chemischen Bereich vorkommt, ohne dass die Abmessungen der Pumpe geändert und damit die Einsatzmöglichkeit begrenzt wird.
