Eine Ventilvorrichtung mit einem Ventilgehäuse (4), in dem längsverfahrbar ein hohles Ventilteil (6) geführt ist, das von einer Betätigungseinrichtung (8, 14) angesteuert in mindestens einer geöffneten Position den Fluidweg durch das Ventil hindurch zwischen einem Fluideingang (E) und einem Fluidausgang (A) entlang eines vorgebbaren Strömungsweges für ein Fluid freigibt und in einer geschlossenen Position diesen Fluidweg sperrt, bei der das Ventilteil (6) in Anlage mit einem Ventil-Schließteil (10) ist, von dem es in der jeweils geöffneten Position abhebt, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zumindest eine Strömungsleiteinrichtung vorhanden ist, die eine zumindest teilweise Richtungsumkehr im Strömungsweg für das aus dem Ventilteil (6) austretende Fluid bewirkt, sobald dieses eine geöffnete Position einnimmt.
