Summary:The invention relates to a patient bed (2) for a radiotherapy facility (4) with an isocentre (8), comprising a table top (12) for patients (10), which extends along a central longitudinal axis (24), and a positioning device for positioning the table top (12), the positioning device having a lift arm (18) extending in the vertical direction (16) as a linear unit for a reciprocal motion of the table top (12), which is connected, on the bottom side, to a base arm (22) extending in the horizontal direction (20), the base arm (22) being mounted in such a way that it can rotate about a vertically oriented base rotational axis (40) extending through the isocentre (8), the positioning device comprising a tilting device (14) for tilting the table top (12) and the table top (12) being mounted on the lift arm (18) by means of the tilting device (14).
