The invention relates to a gas turbine system (10) comprising a turbine (12) to which hot gas can be applied and which includes a turbine rotor (18) that is located in a turbine casing (20) and can rotate about an axis of rotation (16), and comprising an electric generator (26) provided with a rotor (30) and a stator (36).
