Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kompositelektode mit Ableiter, der mit einer Elektrodenmasse umfassend aktives Elektrodenmaterial, Bindemittel und Leitruss beschichtet ist, wobei die Elektrodenmasse in Bezug auf Elektrodenmaterial und Leitadditivs einen Konzentrationsgradienten in Richtung der Elektrodendicke aufweist, der Konzentrationsgradient des aktiven Elektrodenmaterials in Richtung Ableiter zunimmt und der Konzentrationsgradient des Leitadditivs und Binder in Richtung Ableiter abnimmt. Zudem werden eine Lithiumionenbatterie umfassend die Kompositelektrode und zwei alternative Verfahren zur Herstellung der Kompositelektrode angegeben. A lithium-ion battery is further provided which includes a composite electrode having a collector, the collector is coated with an electrode composition containing an active electrode material, a binding agent, and a conductivity additive.
