Summary:The camera (10) has an evaluation unit (15) for determining a velocity (v) of a detected conveyed material (30). The evaluation unit is formed such that a surface feature of the conveyed material (30) is brought in captured depth images (B1, B2), where the velocity of the conveyed material is determined as a function of displacement of the surface feature of the conveyed material between the depth images. The evaluation unit is designed such that the velocity of conveyed material is determined from a combination of depth and two-dimensional images. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining the velocity of a conveyed material. Photomischdetektorkamera (10) mit einer Auswerteeinheit (15) zur Bestimmung einer Geschwindigkeit (v) eines erfassten Förderguts (30), bei dem die Auswerteeinheit (15) derart ausgebildet ist, dass mindestens ein Oberflächenmerkmal des Förderguts (30) in erfassten Tiefenbildern (B1, B2) verfolgt wird und in Abhängigkeit einer Verschiebung des Oberflächenmerkmals zwischen den Tiefenbildern (B1, B2) eine Geschwindigkeit (v) des Förderguts ermittelt wird.
