The belt system (4) has two belt straps (7.1,7.2), where an end of the former belt strap is fastened to a longitudinal side of the patient couch (3), and an end of the latter belt strap is fastened to another longitudinal side of the patient couch. The belt straps have fastening surfaces in the area of their other ends, where the belt straps are detachably fastened with each other on the fastening surfaces. The fastening surfaces have a smooth surface. The belt straps are formed by electrostatic bands. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Gurtsystem zur Sicherung eines Patienten auf einer Patientenliege, aufweisend zwei Gurtbänder, wobei ein erstes Gurtband an einem Ende an der ersten Längsseite der Patientenliege und ein zweites Gurtband an einem Ende an der zweiten Längsseite der Patientenliege befestigt sind und wobei die Gurtbänder zumindest im Bereich ihres jeweils anderen Endes Verschlussflächen aufweisen, an denen sie miteinander lösbar befestigbar sind, wobei die Verschlussflächen eine glatte Oberfläche aufweisen.
