Summary:The rocker (3) has a longitudinally extending cavity formed in a section of pipes (9, 10), which are made from fiber-reinforced plastic. The pipes are secured to walls of the longitudinally extending cavity. The pipes are arranged among the walls and a reinforcement element (14). The pipes are attached with a longitudinal carrier (4) and secured together. The pipes are housed in a receiving area (8) of the longitudinally extending cavity. Rear surface of the receiving area is accommodated by a bulkhead i.e. diagonal bulkhead (11). Ein Schweller (3) für ein Kraftfahrzeug (2) weist einen sich längserstreckenden Hohlraum (6) auf, wobei in dem Hohlraum (6) zumindest abschnittsweise mindestens ein Rohr (9, 10) aus faserverstärktem Kunststoff untergebracht ist. Ein Personenkraftwagen (2) weist mindestens einen Schweller (3) auf.
