Summary: | The method involves controlling an impulse sensor (2) by a driver circuit (1) for controlling an ultrasonic-converter element (4) with an excitation voltage with pulse rate and/or pulse level such that the amplitude of echo signals of the converter elements lies in optimal dynamic range of an output amplifier (5). The pulse rate and/or pulse level of the excitation voltage is increased and/or decreased when the amplitude of echo signals lies outside of the dynamic range of the amplifier, where the converter element converts electrical impulse into ultrasonic impulse.
Es wird ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Ultraschallwandlers beschrieben. Bei dem Verfahren wird das Wandlerelement des Ultraschallwandlers mit einer Anregespannung mit einer solchen Pulszahl und/oder Pulshöhe angesteuert, dass die Amplitude der Echosignale des Wandlerelementes immer im optimalen Aussteuerbereich des Ausgangsverstärkers liegt. Auf diese Weise lassen sich ohne großen Aufwand besonders genaue Ergebnisse erzielen. |
