Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Aluminiumgusskern (11), der aus einem Sandkernteil (10) und einem oder mehreren Salzkernteilen (20a) besteht, wobei der Sandkernteil (10) den Salzkernteil (20a) formschlüssig teilweise umgibt. Ferner beschreibt die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des Aluminiumgusskerns (11), das zunächst ein Herstellen eines oder mehrerer Salzkernteile (20a) aus einer Salzschmelze umfasst. Hiernach wird ein Kernschießwerkzeug bereitgestellt und einer oder mehrere Salzkernteile darin positioniert. Das Kernschießwerkzeug wird mit einer Sand-Bindemittel-Mischung gefüllt, dabei werden die Randabschnitte (21a, 21b) des jeweiligen Salzkernteils (20a) mit der Sand-Bindemittel-Mischung umspült. In dem Kernschießwerkzeug erfolgt ein Aushärten zu einem Sandkernteil (10), der die Randabschnitte des jeweiligen Salzkernteils (20a) von dem Sandkernteil ganz oder teilweise formschlüssig umgibt. |
