Summary:The method involves pushing a printing plate (27) to output shaft of plate exchange device (16) during reverse rotation of plate cylinder, after opening a clamping device (28) for trailing edge of printing plate. A clamping device (38) for leading edge of printing plate is opened before taking the printing plate by the transport rollers (31,32). Then, the printing plate is removed from plate cylinder by transport rollers without stopping the reverse rotation of plate cylinder. Bei einem Verfahren und einer Vorrichtung zum Druckplattenwechsel an einer Druckmaschine ist es vorgesehen, dass eine Druckplatte durch Rückwärtsdrehen des Plattenzylinders einem Auszugsschacht einer Plattenwechselvorrichtung zugeführt wird. Hierbei ergreifen antreibbare Transportrollen die Druckplatte und ziehen diese während der Plattenzylinderrotation aus einer zuvor geöffneten Klemmeinrichtung für die Druckplattenvorderkante, ohne dass der Plattenzylinder angehalten werden muss.
