Summary: | The data center (1) has multiple servers (5) in a computer system (3), a power supply system (2) for main power supply to the data center and a cooling system (7) for cooling the computer system. The power supply system has a direct-voltage generator (9), and a direct-voltage network (11) is provided to connect a computer system with the power supply system. The power supply system is provided as a cogeneration unit, while the cooling system has a sorption refrigerator. The sorption refrigerator of the cooling system is connected to the power supply system by a waste heat management system. An independent claim is provided for a method for powering a data center.
