Abstract The hot and cold structures (4,5) are welded or soldered to the thermoelectric module (2). The heat from the hot structure which serves as heat source is transferred to thermoelectric module during operation of thermoelectric generator (1). The heat from thermoelectric module is transferred to cold structure which serves as heat sink. An independent claim is included for thermoelectric generator. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines thermoelektrischen Generators (1), der zumindest ein thermoelektrisches Modul (2), zumindest eine im Betrieb des thermoelektrischen Generators (1) als Wärmequelle dienende, mit dem thermoelektrischen Modul (2) wärmeübertragend verbundene Warmstruktur (4) und mindestens eine im Betrieb des thermoelektrischen Generators (1) als Wärmesenke dienende, mit dem thermoelektrischen Modul (2) wärmeübertragend verbundene Kaltstruktur (5) aufweist, bei dem das thermoelektrische Modul (2) mit der Warmstruktur (4) verlötet wird.
