Summary: | Producing pig iron in a blast furnace reduction process, using a blast furnace (1) and at least one hot blast stove (2), comprises heating the air supplied to the blast furnace, which is required for the reduction. At least one heat engine is used for generating electrical energy, whose waste heat is used at least partially for hot air generation. An independent claim is also included for a device for producing the pig iron, comprising at least one blast furnace, at least one hot blast stove, and an air pre-heater (9a, 9b) arranged upstream of the hot-blast stoves.
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Gewinnung von Roheisen in einem Hochofen-Reduktionsprozess mit einem Hochofen und wenigstens einem Winderhitzer, in welchem die für die Reduktion benötigte, dem Hochofen zuzuführende Luft erhitzt wird, wobei sich das Verfahren durch die Verwendung wenigstens einer Wärmekraftmaschine zur Erzeugung elektrischer Energie auszeichnet, deren Abhitze zumindest teilweise zur Heißwinderzeugung genutzt wird. |
