Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air-conditioner capable of saving the power by reducing the operating hours of a compressor in the air-conditioning mode. SOLUTION: The vehicular air-conditioner 100 comprises an air-conditioning case 10 including an air passage 10a through which air to be blown into a cabin passes therein, an evaporator 7 provided in the air-conditioning case 10 to cool the air flowing through the air passage 10a by the endothermic effect of a refrigerant flowing therein, an indoor blower 14 for blowing air to the evaporator 7, and an air-conditioner ECU 50 for controlling the operation of a compressor 2 for feeding the refrigerant to the evaporator 7 and the operation of the indoor blower 14. The air-conditioner ECU 50 can determine the drying degree of the evaporator 7, and performs the control not to operate the compressor 2 if it is determined that the evaporator 7 is dried to the level on which the odor is hardly felt during the automatic air-conditioning operation when an ignition switch is turned ON.
