Summary: | The method involves arranging a material web to be cut at an embroidery bottom surface, where the web is made of warm-fusible textile. A cutting tip (9) is heated by a heating element (10) and arranged at a cutting device (1). The cutting tip is brought in gumption or fusion intervention with the material web. Temperature of the cutting tip is regulated independent upon melting point, cutting speed, thickness or humidity of the material web to be cut. The cutting tip is held in a holder (2) in relation to the material web. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing the method for operating the cutting device at the embroidery machine.
Verfahren zum Betrieb einer Schneidvorrichtung an einer Stickmaschine, an deren Stickboden mindestens eine zu schneidende Stoffbahn aus einem wärmeschmelzbaren Textil angeordnet ist, der gegenüberliegend mindestens eine an der Schneidvorrichtung angeordnete beheizte Schneidspitze angeordnet ist, die in Schneideingriff mit der Stoffbahn gebracht wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Temperatur der Schneidspitze der Schneidvorrichtung in Abhängigkeit von der Schmelztemperatur und der Schneidgeschwindigkeit sowie von weiteren Parametern der Stickerei wie beispielsweise die Dicke oder die Feuchte der zu schneidenden Stoffbahn geregelt ist. |
