The system (1) has a blower (6) arranged in a housing (2) for circulating air. An air cleaner is provided for cleaning the air conducted by the system. A recirculating air opening (10) is formed in the housing and provided for sucking air directly from interior of a motor vehicle. The recirculating air opening is arranged in area of a boundary wall i.e. dashboard, of the interior and turned toward the boundary wall of the interior. An air duct is connected to the circulating air opening. The boundary wall is selected from a group consisting of a windscreen or disk of a vehicle door, lining of vehicle doors and floor coverings. Bei einer Kraftfahrzeugklimaanlage (1), umfassend ein Gehäuse (2), ein in dem Gehäuse (2) angeordnetes Gebläse (6) zum Umwälzen der Luft, wenigstens einen Luftkanal zum Durchleiten von Luft, wenigstens einen Luftfilter zum Reinigen der durch die Kraftfahrzeugklimaanlage geleiteten Luft, eine Frischluftöffnung zum Ansaugen von Luft aus einer Umgebung des Kraftfahrzeuges, soll die Umluft im Innenraum des Kraftfahrzeuges mit niedrigen Temperaturen angesaugt werden können. Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass durch wenigstens eine Umluftöffnung der Kraftfahrzeugklimaanlage Luft, insbesondere unmittelbar, aus einem Innenraum des Kraftfahrzeuges ansaugbar ist.
