The device has a test body (10) positioned at a seat (1) and attached to a belt (3) to be measured, and a force measuring device (11) coupled with the test body at a side and with the belt at another side for transmitting traction forces. A coupling element (16) couples the force measuring device with the belt, where the belt is guided around a clip (17) of the coupling element such that the clip is movable along the belt. A hook (19) is connected with the force measuring device and engages in a lug (18) of the coupling element. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Gurtkraft-Messvorrichtung zum Messen einer auf einen Gurt wirkenden Kraft, umfassend eine Kraftmesseinrichtung und einen Prüfkörper, der auf einem Sitz positionierbar ist, der dem zu messenden Gurt zugeordnet ist, wobei die Kraftmesseinrichtung einerseits mit dem Prüfkörper und andererseits mit dem Gurt zur Übertragung von Zugkräften gekoppelt ist.
