Summary:The flat liquid crystal display monitor (1) has a liquid crystal display module (5), where front surface (2) of the liquid crystal display monitor is elevation-free. The liquid crystal display monitor has air gap-free or air gap-reduced transmission of a light to front surface during operation. The light is produced by an image-producing surface of the liquid crystal display module. Die Erfindung betrifft einen flachbauenden LCD-Monitor (1) mit erhebungsfreier Frontfläche (2). Die Frontfläche kann dabei ein Bestandteil eines LCD-Moduls (5) sein, beispielsweise in Form einer LCD-Modul-Frontscheibe (3a), oder eine in geringem Abstand vom LCD-Modul (5) befindliche oder direkt auf diesem aufliegende separate Frontscheibe (3b) umfassen. Die Frontfläche (2) kann eine Antiglare-Beschichtung oder eine kombinierte Antiglare/Antireflex-Beschichtung aufweisen. Der flachbauende LCD-Monitor (1) kann in ein Kraftfahrzeug eingebaut werden. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin ein Kraftfahrzeug, welches einen erfindungsgemäßen LCD-Monitor (1) umfasst.
