The method involves opening an electrically actuated switching point (SST) for currentless switching of a three-phase alternating current motor (M). The electrically actuated switch is switched off by a non-controlled phase of the three-phase alternating current motor. The non-controlled phase is switched off by opening the switching point during a disconnected state of a two-phase controlled soft start control. An independent claim is also included for a circuit arrangement for operating a three-phase alternating current motor. Für ein gesichertes Betreiben eines Drehstrommotors (M) mit einer zweiphasig (z. B. L1 und L2) geste ein Verfahren und zur Durchführung des Verfahrens eine Schaltungsanordnung vorgeschlagen auf der Grundlage, dass in die dritte nicht gesteuerte Phase (z. B.
