The electrolysis apparatus for producing gases from water for the production of combustion in a combustion engine, comprises a combustion area, which supplies a fuel enriched with the gas, a housing (1) with electrodes (2) arranged to each other, an inlet (3) for the electrolytes and/or for water, an outlet (4) for the gas obtained through electrolysis, a foam area (5) equipped above the electrode arrangement, and a filter arrangement (6) for preventing the passage of the foam and/or electrolyte remnants emerging during the electrolysis. The filter arrangement is arranged in the outlet and has a membrane function that lets the gas produced by the electrolysis and recirculates the moisture and foam. The outlet directly flows in the foam area. The filter comprises single- or multi-layered fine sieve from wire or plastic and a silicon elastomer is applied on the side turned to the foam area. The filter arrangement comprises two limitation elements forming a filter chamber, distanced from each other. The limitation elements are made of fine sieve, tissue, mesh and/or fleece and the filter chamber is loaded with filter granulates. The lower limiting element comprises a gas-permeable coating and the filter arrangement comprises a thin-walled filter or a porous, gas permeable block filter. The filter arrangement is implemented as screw filter and is screwed in a thread hole of the outlet in a clasp cover or into a connection support of the housing. The electrodes are inserted in a plastic base plate in grooves at one side and in grooves in a cover plate at another side. Slits or holes are arranged in the base- and the cover plate. The base plate is arranged to the base of the housing and the level of the electrolytes is provided with the water up to the foam area. The electrodes consist of wrapped sleeves that are concentrically arranged in the housing, which has a cylinder form. The electrodes are arranged as plates in rows and the housing is formed in rectangular manner. The distance of the electrodes is 2 mm. The mantle cover of the housing is formed as electrodes. The base- and cover plate are connected to each other after inserting the electrodes and the external electrodes are connected on the pole to a direct current source. Centric breakthroughs for the production of the flow of the electrolyte-water-mixture are arranged through the electrode arrangement during the arrangement of the electrodes in the base- and cover plate. The electrodes consist of stainless steel and the external electrode consists of copper. The electrodes consist of support tissue- or mesh from carbon fibers and are made of metal. The housing mantle is formed in double-walled manner. A cooling liquid is bringable in the cavity and/or a hot fluid is bringable for heating. Means delivering a heat or a heat exchanger is arranged in the housing or around the mantle wall and the electrolyte with the water is controllable at a temperature. The water- and/or electrolyte line is equipped over an inlet in the cover plate. The internal and external electrodes are connected over screw-, break- or clamping contact with the poles of a current supply source. The contact connections release from the cover plate or are connected with plug contacts. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Elektrolysegerät zum Erzeugen eines oder mehrerer Gase aus Wasser zur Förderung der Verbrennung in einer Verbrennungskraftmaschine mit einem Verbrennungsraum, welchem ein mit dem Gas angereicherter Brennstoff zuführbar ist, mit einem Gehäuse (1) mit stehend angeordneten Elektroden (2), einem Einlass (3) für den Elektrolyten und/oder für das Wasser, einem Auslass (4) für das durch Elektrolyse gewonnene Gas und einem oberhalb der Elektrodenanordnung (2) vorgesehenen Schaumraum (5) und einer angeordneten Filteranordnung (6) zum Verhindern des Durchtritts des bei der Elektrolyse entstehenden Schaums und/oder Elektrolytrückstände. Das Gerät zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die Filteranordnung (6) in dem Auslass (4) angeordnet ist und eine Membranfunktion aufweist, die das durch die Elektrolyse erzeugte Gas hindurchtreten lässt, Feuchtigkeit und Schaum jedoch zurückhält, und dass der Auslass unmittelbar in den Schaumraum (5) mündet.
