The vehicle bodywork has at least one load-bearing structural component (104) and at least one casting (102) with a support for a suspension spring leg. The bond (114) between them is of a different material from the structural component and the casting, at least partially of plastics, in contact with them both and holding them apart. The bond is secured to the two component by an adhesive in a positive fit.
