Summary:The device has a sensor element (3) e.g. resistor, including a material, where a condition of the sensor element is varied based on physical or chemical reaction on the material. An antenna arrangement (2) decouples a signal from the device, where level of the signal is based on the condition. The sensor element is coupled with the antenna arrangement such that an impedance of the antenna arrangement is based on the condition. The sensor element is designed such that the signal is modulated based on the condition. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a transponder tag (2) a method for determining condition of a transponder device. Eine Transpondervorrichtung zur Speicherung eines Datums umfasst ein Sensorelement (3), das ein Material (310, 311, 312, 313, 322, 333) aufweist, wobei ein Zustand des Sensorelements in Abhängigkeit von einer physikalischen oder chemischen Einwirkung auf das Material verändert wird. Von der Transpondervorrichtung wird ein Signal ausgegeben, dessen Pegel von dem Zustand des Sensorelements (3) abhängig ist.
