Summary:The tool (1) has a tool wall enclosing a form cavity (2), where a part of the tool wall designed as a visible side (3) is made of glass. A radiation source (6) emits radiation (S) e.g. ultraviolet or infrared radiation, through the visible side, which is transparent to the radiation, for controlling temperature of a plastic casting material (M) in the form cavity. A mask (7) for masking the radiation is arranged at the visible side, and a side of the visible side facing the form cavity is provided with a layer (8) absorbing the radiation. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Formgebungswerkzeug (1) zum Gießen von Kunststoffteilen, umfassend eine Werkzeugwand, die eine Formkavität (2) zumindest weitgehend umschließt, wobei ein als Sichtseite (3) ausgebildeter Teil der Werkzeugwand aus Glas gebildet ist, wobei eine Strahlungsquelle (6) vorgesehen ist, mittels derer eine Strahlung (S) zur Temperierung von Kunststoffgießmaterial (M) in der Formkavität (2) durch die für die Strahlung (S) transparente Sichtseite (3) hindurch emittierbar ist.
