The profile element has two mutually arranged retaining areas with a retaining chamber, where the retaining area is opened at an edge, and the refrigerating goods are inserted into the retaining chamber for vertically holding the refrigerating goods. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kühlgerät, insbesondere ein Haushaltskühlgerät, mit einem in einem Kühlraum anordenbaren Kühlgutbehälter (303) zur Aufnahme von Kühlgut und einem Profilelement (301) mit einem längsgekrümmten Profil zur formgerechten Halterung des Kühlguts in dem Kühlgutbehälter.
