The device has a step (6) that is fastened to a standing surface (4) of a vehicle i.e. lorry-cab, or a vehicle interior, and another step (7) independent of the former step and fastened to an upper couch (3). The latter step has a plate-shaped stepping surface, where the latter step is formed with a handle. The standing surface is formed before the couch that is arranged more than 1 meter above the standing surface. The former step is integrated in a cockpit or a seat of the vehicle. Es soll ein ergonomisch geeigneter, sicherer und einfacher Aufstieg zu einer höher gelegenen Liege (3) in einem Fahrzeug bereitgestellt werden. Dazu wird eine Aufstiegsvorrichtung vorgeschlagen, die genau zwei, nämlich eine erste (6) und eine zweite (7), Trittstufe aufweist. Die erste Trittstufe (6) ist auf einer Standfläche des Fahrzeugs oder an einem Fahrzeuginterieur befestigbar. Die zweite Stufe (7) ist von der ersten Trittstufe (6) unabhängig und an der Liege (3) befestigbar.
