Summary:The method involves determining a correction value for partial fuel injection in a cylinder of an internal combustion engine by stimulating an injection pattern and by changing drive vibration in the internal combustion engine. The drive vibration is caused by the injection pattern. Amplitude of the drive vibration is minimized or adjusted to minimum. The drive vibration is changed based on the amplitude or a phase position of the drive vibration. The effect of the drive vibration is determined by amount and/or phase of speed information. An independent claim is also included for a device for calibrating injection amount of partial fuel injection into a fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle. Bei einem Verfahren und einer Vorrichtung zur Kalibrierung der Einspritzmenge einer Teileinspritzung in einem Einspritzsystem einer Brennkraftmaschine insbesondes eines Kraftfahrzeugs ist vorgesehen, dass ein Korrekturwert für eine Teileinspritzung in einen einzelnen Zylinder der Brennkraftmaschine durch Stimulation eines Einspritzmusters und durch Verändern einer durch das Einspritzmuster verursachten Drehzahlschwingung ermittelt wird.
