The arrangement has a door lining (24) with an outlet edge (26) to which an airbag is moved from a stowage position arranged behind the door lining to a support position partially arranged before the door lining. The outlet edge is formed by an edge (30) of the door lining into which outlet edge is attached to an adjacent component (12). The door lining is subjected with force when the airbag is moved from the stowage position to the support position such that a detachable connection with the adjacent component is formed in the area of the outlet edge. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung eines Airbags (28) hinter einem Verkleidungsteil (24) eines Innenraums eines Kraftfahrzeugs, bei welcher wenigstens eine Austrittskante (26) des Verkleidungsteils (24) vorgesehen ist, nahe welcher der Airbag (28) aus seiner hinter dem Verkleidungsteil (24) angeordneten Verstaustellung in eine zumindest teilweise vor dem Verkleidungsteil angeordnete Rückhaltestellung bewegbar ist, wobei die Austrittskante (26) durch einen Rand (30) des Verkleidungsteils gebildet ist, in welchem dieses an ein benachbartes Bauteil (12) unmittelbar oder mittelbar über ein Zusatzteil, zum Beispiel eine Dichtleiste, angeschlossen ist.
