The motor vehicle has a determining device for determining a remaining range value based on an actual energy content of an energy storage. A navigation system automatically determines a target location based on characteristics of corresponding routes to the target location such that a drive to the corresponding target location and drive back to an actual residence or to a starting location are carried out based on the remaining range value. A display device highlightedly displays the determined target location and/or a geographical region. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einer Vorrichtung zur Ermittlung einer Rest-Reichweite und mit einem Navigationssystem, das derart eingerichtet ist, dass durch das Navigationssystem automatisch Zielorte ermittelt werden, wobei die Zielorte jeweils dadurch bestimmt sind, dass, basierend auf der Rest-Reichweite, eine Fahrt zu dem entsprechenden Zielort und zurück zu dem aktuellen Aufenthaltsort durchführbar ist.
