Summary:The vehicle has controllers, an energy supply system, an electrical energy storage i.e. battery, supplying electrical energy to the controllers, an auxiliary starting point i.e. auxiliary starting pole (1), and a pole protection switching unit provided at the point. The storage is coupled with the energy supply system in a pole-protected manner. The pole protection switching unit is assigned to a device for detecting polarity of voltage lying close to the auxiliary starting point. The switching unit is closable by the device for detecting polarity during correct polarity. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einer Vielzahl von Steuergeräten, mit einem Energiebordnetz und einem elektrischen Energiespeicher zur Versorgung der Steuergeräte, mit einem Fremdstartstützpunkt und mit einer Verpolschutz-Schalteinheit am Fremdstartstützpunkt, bei dem die Kopplung des Energiespeichers mit dem Energiebordnetz verpolgeschützt ausgeführt ist.
