Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Kommunikationsverfahren für eine adhoc Fahrzeug-zu-Fahrzeug Kommunikation mittels eines adhoc-Funknetzes durch in mehreren Fahrzeugen angeordnete Kommunikationssysteme. Dies erfolgt durch folgende Schritte, dass das Vorhandensein eines oder mehrerer Fahrzeuge mit Kommunikationssystemen in Reichweite des adhoc-Funknetzes überprüft wird und bei Vorhandensein mehrerer Kommunikationssysteme eine Kommunikationsbereitschaft der Kommunikationssysteme abgefragt wird, dass von jedem Kommunikationssystem den weiteren Kommunikationssystemen ein oder mehrere Themen übermittelt werden, zu denen Kommunikationsbereitschaft besteht, und dass bei Feststellung einer Übereinstimmung von Themen ein Austausch von Informationen mittels in den Fahrzeugen vorhandener Kommunikationseinheiten erfolgt.
