Summary:The press has a rotor provided with upper and lower compression punch accommodation for upper and lower punches, which co-operate with bores of a die plate of the rotor. A control cam element (36) is detachably fastened on a carrier and moved radially away from compression punch heads when a fastening unit is detached so that the control cam element is taken out parallel to an axis of the rotor towards an upside or towards a bottom side, respectively, by passing the punch heads.
